首次遭遇
勇者在旧森林探索时，会在曼陀罗女妖尚未被击败的情况下首次遭遇森林狐妖，且勇者至少要达到 2 级。穿过森林时，勇者察觉到异样并准备好武器；若勇者是狼族，还能从风中辨认出独特气味；若勇者拥有猎人背景，则知道自己正处于迫在眉睫的危险中。拉紧弓弦的声音吸引了勇者的注意，箭矢呼啸而来，勇者立刻向前扑去。勇者面向箭矢射来的方向，一个男人开口道歉，说他们不会杀死勇者，但必须活下去并抢走补给。日向报上姓名，承诺会等量归还从勇者那里拿走的东西。被问到是否想要钱时，他说钱填不饱肚子，他们需要食物，否则只能另想办法。勇者问他们为何不去狩猎，日向回答，他们不敢碰森林里的怪异果实，而普通猎物也少得惊人。最后，他询问勇者是否允许他们取走所需，还是要逼他们动手。
随后，勇者会看到以下选项：
- 帮助——尽管他们的请求方式不太好，你仍能理解有人正陷入困境。
- 拒绝——你不会交出自己的任何东西！与他们战斗！

帮助
理解他们的困境后，勇者会确认狐妖是否需要食物。日向回答说他们不挑剔，只要食物没有森林的污秽；他补充，如果勇者想保留补给，也可以直接以勇者的生命力为食。若勇者见过清子，就知道这意味着什么，否则会大吃一惊。无论如何，日向解释说，未经勇者同意，他和下属都不会夺取那种东西；他说性爱通常是最愉快的方式，否则也可以直接从勇者身上撕走生命力，但那会最不舒服。随后勇者会看到以下选项：
分享食物
分享食物时，勇者会翻找背包，取出用蜡纸包好的食物交给日向，再由他分给下属。他深深鞠躬表示感谢，并询问勇者姓名；勇者会告诉他。狐妖收好食物后，日向的下属先行离开，他说若再次相遇，双方可以在更和平的情况下畅谈。离开前，他警告勇者，霜林以北的桥被一只曼陀罗女妖封锁，这也是他们沦为盗匪的原因。若凯特、阿罗娜或阿图吉娅在场，她们会评论日向的警告或狐妖。
分享精华
如果决定分享精华，日向的表情会柔和下来，说勇者要么勇敢、要么极其鲁莽、要么就是渴望经验。若凯特在场，她会表达担忧；否则日向会解释，勇者之后会感到虚弱、迷乱，但只要不透支体质，就不会受到永久伤害。狐妖们毫不羞怯也不犹豫地脱光衣服，日向先让下属挑选，从勇者身上汲取精华。狐妖满足后，勇者会精疲力竭；日向解释说桐里吸得有些过头。如果勇者有同伴，日向会建议勇者休息，并告知营地地点，随后穿衣离开。若勇者没有同伴，日向会带勇者回营地休息，直到勇者能够再次面对森林。之后勇者会获得衰弱状态效果。
拒绝
拒绝帮助狐妖后，日向会苦笑，说他们只能采取更强硬的谈判方式，然后召集下属攻击勇者。
If 勇者 defeats 该 狐妖, Hinata 将 draw as much distance as 他 可以, 之前 whistling to 他的 同伴 to retreat. Once 他们've left, 他 将 lunge 进入 undergrowth 和 disappear, 勇者 unable to 给予 chase. 如果在场, 凯特 或 阿罗娜 将 给予 comment, else a 同伴 与 该 tags; 爱玩 或 淫荡, 将 给予 comment.
应该 勇者 是 defeated, Hinata 将 call Kiri 和 Yuzu to loot 通过 该 spoils 当……时 他 holds down 勇者. If 勇者 有 Trail Rations 或 Camping Supplies, 该 archers 将 是 able to 找到 和 take 它, 和 once 他们've secured 该 supplies, Hinata orders them to 离开 第一 as 他 将 是 covering 他们的 tracks, but 之前 leaving, 他 给予 勇者 a lesson on charity, but mocks 那 他的 words 是 falling on deaf ears, so 他 thanks them for 该 food 和 bids them a good 天. If 否 food 是 找到, at random, 一 of 该 狐妖 将 drain 勇者, 当……时 该 others drain a random 可性交同伴. Unlike Hinata who goes straight to 该 point to 获得 该 essence, Yuzu drains 与 a kiss 和 Kiri 与 a bite. 之后 他们 是 drained, 勇者 将 receive 该 Drained 状态效果.
后续遭遇
只有勇者没有与狐妖分享食物或精华时，才会再次遭遇狐妖。与首次遭遇不同，日向不会再向勇者索要食物或精华，而是直接发动攻击。胜利与失败场景与首次遭遇相同。
位于 狐妖 Camp
勇者帮助狐妖后，可以在夜间（20:00–5:59）拜访他们。夜间拜访狐妖时，会出现以下选项：
喂食
当……时 勇者 brings out food for 该 狐妖, Kiri 和 Yuzu 特质 up, however, Hinata tells them to 有所保留. 该 three 将 kowtow towards 勇者 as Hinata expresses 他的 gratitude for 他们的 kindness, although, if 他 是 alone, 他的 pride 会 tempt him to 拒绝 on principle, however, 它 是 不 an 选项 当……时 他的 subordinates 是 under 他的 care. 该 two girls begin eating, as Hinata reminds them 那 他们 是 still on half-rations because 他们 cannot rely on 勇者's charity for long, 和 仅 当……时 他们 是 done eating 会 他 take a 小 portion to eat. Yuzu 看起来 uncertain, however, Hinata reassures 她的 和 states 那 她 将 go 第一, followed by Kiri 和 then himself. Kiri interjects by stating 那 Yuzu 是 uncertain because 它的 不 right 那 Hinata keeps depriving himself 全部 该 时间, 那 他们 understand 该 responsibility 他 感觉 for 他们的 well being, but 他 可以 hardly lead them to 该 fullest of 他们的 capacity if 它 goes on much longer. If 勇者 有 两者 Cait 和 一名贴身护卫 present, Yuzu 将 喂食 on Cait, 当……时 Kiri 将 喂食 on 一名贴身护卫, if 仅 一 present; 他们 将 take 回合 当……时 Hinata feeds on 勇者, otherwise 全部 three 将 喂食 on 勇者. 之后 该 进食, 勇者 将 receive 该 Enervation 状态效果, which 是 immediately removed because 勇者 sleeps 之后 该 进食.
聊天
家乡
On 该 topic of 该 狐妖 being stranded, Hinata explains 那 a 河流 separates 该 旧森林 和 霜林, 和 那 there 是 仅 一 桥 那 spans 它. 该 problem 是 那 a noisome creature 有 taken up residence on 该 桥's far end 和 anyone foolhardy 够了 to attempt to cross 是 quickly taken by 它. Unfortunately 该 河流 是 too broad 和 它的 currents too swift to attempt to cross 它, although Kiri 和 Yuzu 有 是 bouncing ideas, 该 furthest 他们 有 gotten 是 a half-finished raft. 当……时 asked how long 他们've 是 in 该 森林, Hinata replies 那 它的 是 weeks, 那 他们的 original provisions 有 是 depleted even on half rations. 当……时 asked why 他们 couldn't just go to 鹰棘镇, 他 answers 那 他们 wouldn't 有 any skills to contribute 和 那 他们 是 monsters 那 可以 live off 该 life force of others. If Hinata 是 alone, 他 might take 该 risk, hoping 那 该 townsfolk 有 不 heard of 该 狐妖 outside 他们的 物理 appearances, however, 他 有 女孩们 in 他的 charge, 和 Kiri 是 bad at concealing 她的 more savage nature. So 该 狐妖 是 stuck until 该 桥 是 cleared, 或 until 他们 manage to scrounge 够了 materials to build a capable raft, although 它 会 是 agonizingly slow.
森林
当……时 asked about 该 森林, Hinata sums up 那 该 森林's situation 是 problematic, 和 那 它 reminds him of tales of 该 Godswar. 他 goes on to 解释 那 there 是 two invasive 种族 of plants 那 有 腐化 该 flora 和 twisted them to 他们的 nature. Although there 是 其他 kinds originating 来自 该 相同 source 或 来自 该 腐化 flora, 该 鸡巴-like vines 和 阴道-like flowers remain dominate 当……时 他们 invade. 该 sweet scents 来自 该 腐化 flora 有 enticed 该 local hornet 和 bee-folk to 喂食 on them, corrupting 两者 种族. As for 该 fauna, many went 进入 hiding 或 fled, 和 those 那 remained 有 是 affected physically 或 mentally; like 该 wolves who've 变得 unnaturally 强势, 和 although food 是 food, wolf meat 是 painfully stringy. Kiri mutters 那 thankfully 该 fish 和 fox berries 是 still edible.
狐妖
In regards to 该 狐妖, Hinata explains 那 狐妖 civilization comes 来自 far across 该 ocean, on 该 eastern isles, 或 at least 那's what 他们的 den mother tells them. Keros brought over a handful of 狐妖 to 该 world, as 他 曾 与 其他 focal points 期间 该 诸神之战 to support 该 ranks of Sorra 和 Lumia. 该 当前 狐妖 是 descendants of 该 survivors of 那 conflict, 和 他们 form a diaspora of sorts. Even 之后 several generations removed 来自 他们的 land of origin, 他们 still don't fit in 和 它 shows, although 他 是 不 in 该 mood to discuss if 它的 a good 或 bad thing. Keros brought over a couple of den mothers to settle 该 frontier, however, 一 是 lost due to an unfortunate accident, 和 与 该 其他, makes 该 狐妖 distantly related to each 其他 in 一 way 或 another, although 该 locals 有 contributed 来自 时间 to 时间.
进食
If asked if 他 finds 该 狐妖 喂食 disturbing, Hinata comments 那 它的 不 来自 他的 viewpoint, 或 at least 不 any more disturbing to 该 要求 of 物理 needs like pulling radish out of 该 earth 或 killing a chicken. 勇者 ponders 那 those two aren't considered sapient but 人们 是, to which Hinata explains 那 它 makes things easier. 这 是 why 他们 offer an equivalent exchange, although there 将 always 是 those who 是 rightfully mistrustful. 他 explains 那 性爱 是 该 easiest way to 给予 back; pleasure for vitality. 当……时 asked how 会 它 感觉, Hinata answers by giving an example; 那 勇者 是 a pot filled 与 water 他 可以 drink 来自 和 fill back up in 它的 own 时间, granted 他 会 不 drain 它 dry in 一 go. 人们 有 different flavors, however, 该 狐妖 可以 获得 too attached as 它 brings color to 他们的 existence, 那 他们 forget 该 precept of equivalent exchange, 和 那 一 天 他们 获得 turned 进入 a rug 或 coat by some vengeful kinsman. 他 comments 那 there 是 a reason why 该 狐妖 是 so impeccably polite, 那 它's a constant exercise in keeping 一's uglier instincts in check.
桥
Asking about 该 state of 该 桥, Hinata replies 那 它 会 need clearing, however, 该 狐妖 是 不 quite up to 该 task themselves. 当……时 asked what creature 有 claimed 该 桥, Hinata replies 那 它 是 a sapient plant 那 有 taken 该 shape of a voluptuous 和 vulgar 女人; an alraune, 和 该 originator of many such lesser creatures 那 roam 该 受染 森林. 这 kind of alraune 是 something 他's 使用 to as 它的 more perverse 和 direct, 来自 what 他's gathered 来自 spying on 她的. 她的 lair 是 hard to mistake as 它 是 a 大型 field of pink flowers 那 有 taken root in 该 adjoining pale 精灵 ruins. 当……时 asked for any advice, 他 explains 那 since 该 alraune 是 a plant, 火焰 works well, 和 那 oil, pitch, 或 grease 会 使 a good firestarter, 和 if 火焰 是 不 他们的 thing than blighting 或 poisoning might prove equally effective. 该 problem being 是 那 她 keeps a handful of offspring nearby, 勇者 应该 专注 他们的 attention on bringing down 该 alraune 和 那 他们 应该 bring some scents of 他们的 own to clear 他们的 mind 和 counteract those which 她 carries. 与 那, Hinata wishes them luck. Showing 该 amulet 和 宝珠 to Hinata 将 有 him study 它 for a 当……时. Once finished, 他 将 say 那 它 是 definitely of 狐妖 origin, however, 他 可以't tell them very much else, although 他 knows 那 它 wasn't 制成 in 该 last century 或 two as 无 of 该 狐妖 穿着 anything in 那 style anymore. 他 asks where 曾 他们 找到 它, to which 勇者 给予 a brief recount of 他们的 journey 通过 该 ruined shrine. Unfortunately Hinata's knowledge 是 of 该 wilds 和 不 of 该 past, although, 他 suggests 那 if 该 桥 是 ever cleared, 那 他们 go to 霜林 和 ask for 该 matron of 他们的 den as 她 会 know, if anyone 会.

期间 狐妖巢穴
该 next 时间 勇者 将 遭遇 该 狐妖 trio 是 当……时 entering 该 黑川狐妖居所 to retrieve 常青女士's bountiful bag. 该 trio along 与 他们的 superior, Warden Azami, 将 是 该 第一 狐妖 他们 将 遭遇, 和 how 勇者 dealt 与 该 trio in 该 旧森林 将 determine 他们的 response towards 勇者's intrusion.
Helped in 该 旧森林 和 有 该 Amulet of Transference / Amulet of Union
If 勇者 曾有 helped 该 trio by sharing them food 或 essence, Hinata rises to 他的 足部, giving them a deep 弓 和 states 那 这 是 an unexpected surprise. 勇者 将 reply 那 他们'd wished 这 reunion 是 under different circumstances, but 他们 是 pressed for 时间. Hinata insists to at least introduce them to 他的 superior, Warden Azami Ishida, 和 retells 她的 about 他们的 great debt to 勇者 for 进食 them 当……时 他们 是 trapped on 该 其他 side of 该 河流. Azami 将 回合 in 她的 seat to 脸 勇者, thanking them for 他们的 kindness on behalf of 她的 subordinates, however, indebted as 他们 may 是 to 勇者, 她 cannot shrink 来自 她的 duties as concierge. 她 asks 勇者 if 他们 有 a suitable reason for trespassing, to which 他们 reply 那 他们 做; 那 although 他们 是 on a errand 来自 常青女士, 他们的 true reason 是 to ask about 该 amber 宝珠 和 它的 amulet. 之后 studying 它, Azami confirms 那 它 是 a treasure of 狐妖 使. Hinata pipes up 和 apologizes; 那 他 曾有 told 勇者 to visit as 该 Shine Mother might know something about 它. Having heard 她的 subordinate's explanation, 她 tells Hinata to sit back down, 和 那 他们've 是 having a fine meal in 他们的 lodge, 和 有 neither seen nor heard anything. 勇者 asks if Azami 可以 accompany them, so 她 可以 解释 该 situation to anyone else who might raise objections to 他们的 存在感. 她 says 那 它 是 impossible, as 她 是 already risking much by placing 她的 trust in them 和 deliberately being derelict 与 她的 duty, 她 adds 那 该 神社巫母 是 a reasonable 女人, although 她 可以't say 该 相同 for 该 其他 denizens. 该 quartet return to 他们的 meals, averting 他们的 眼睛 来自 where 勇者 stands, although Yuzu steals a guilty glance at them every now 和 then.

Awkward silence fills 该 room as 该 狐妖 stop 他们的 meal 和 回合 他们的 眼睛 towards 勇者. Hinata rises 来自 他的 seat 和 slightly stumbles on 他的 words as 他 greets them. 勇者 wishes 他们的 reunion 是 under better circumstances, but 他们 是 pressed for 时间. Hinata 似乎 visibly uncomfortable as 他 introduces 他的 superior 和 explains 那 勇者 是 该 一 who helped them in 该 旧森林, 和 与 那 debt, 他 humbly suggests 那 Azami keep 那 in mind. Azami in 她的 part thanks 勇者 for returning 她的 subordinates safely, 和 for 他们的 significant act of kindness, 该 wardens in 该 lodge 是 under 他们的 debt. 当……时 asked if 她 可以 repay 该 debt by letting them 通过, Azami states 那 她 cannot simply neglect 她的 duty 和 那 unless 他们 有 a suitable reason for being here, 勇者 是 trespassing. 他们 state 那 他们're on business 来自 常青女士, but 他们 know 它的 不 an adequate reason. Azami replies 那 它 isn't, doubly so since "那 狸猫" 是 他们的 client. 她 calls upon Kiri 和 Yuzu, as 该 four 狐妖 set aside 他们的 meal 和 有 他们的 武器 位于 ready, although 他们的 hearts aren't in 该 fight 来自 该 way 他们 carry themselves. Azami apologizes 那 他们 有 to detain 勇者 和 他们 move in for a fight.
曾 不 帮助 in 该 旧森林
Silence falls 当……时 该 群体 spot 勇者, 和 Hinata sets down 他的 utensils 和 calls out to them 与 a narrow gaze. 勇者 confirms 那 它 是 them 和 他们 guess 他's finally getting something to eat on 他的 own instead of stealing 它 off others. Kiri 和 Yuzu stare 与 rage 和 Hinata 睾丸 他的 fist tightly, however, 无 of them 使 a move as Azami introduces herself 和 affirms 那 她的 subordinates 有 spoken much about them. 当……时 asked if 他们 left out 该 parts of 他们的 banditry in 该 旧森林, Azami acknowledges 那 banditry 是 indeed reprehensible even given 该 circumstances 该 trio 是 in 和 apologizes for any problems 他们've caused 勇者. 她 states 那 勇者's actions 是 perfectly understandable thus, 她 trusts 他们 将 extend 这 相同 understanding 当……时 他们 是 equally hard-hearted in detaining them for trespass, 那 他们的 debt to 勇者 将 是 repaid 与 该 exact 相同 coin 勇者 曾有 bestowed unto them as 他们 move in for a fight.
曾 不 meet them in 该 旧森林
来自 what 勇者 可以 see, 该 狐妖 看 like ordinary 人们 having a meal, 和 他们 attempt to sneak past them, however, Yuzu alerts 该 rest 当……时 她 spots 勇者, 和 in a flash 该 quartet 是 on 他们的 足部 与 他们的 武器 位于 ready. 勇者 asks if 他们 可以't talk things over, 那 他们're simply on behalf of 常青女士 to 找到 她的 missing bag, however, Azami concludes 那 勇者 是 a mercenary in 该 狸猫's employ, 和 now 他们've gone 来自 不 having a legitimate reason to 是 in 该 den, to being a menace. As 该 concierge of 该 den, Azami 将 不 允许 just anyone to waltz in, 和 orders 她的 subordinates to assist 她的 as 他们 move in to apprehend 该 intruder.
Post 狐妖巢穴
