Summons

This page will serve as the hub for all creatures/characters that fall under the summons power. For information on said summon powers, see here.

How It Works

The usual summon limit for the Champion's party is one active summon at a time, and any new summon will overwrite the existing one. The enemy party does not share this limit, and some characters, such as but not limited to Berwyn (enemy), Mistress Matiha, and Artificer Kazuo can have multiple summons active at the same time.

The stats of a summon is entirely depend on Presence & Leadership of the summoner. The allocation or what percentage does a summon copy from their summoner will, by default be 0.50 (50%), however, others can have a custom allocation, which will be stated in their combat stats table. The computation below is how a summon's attribute is computed, but it should be noted that if the computation is less than the summoner's level, the attributes will be equal to the summoner's level instead.

Fire Spirits

---

At the Temple of Terrestrial Fire, an altar meant for a ritual of summoning and binding to a black flame lies incomplete. If the Champion uses a Glowing Ice Shard and has the Summon Flame Spirit power learned, they are able to make it past the temple's inner doors. Proceeding further, the Champion is confronted by two elementals with the appearance of salamanders. They speak, calling the Champion an aspirant, and that if they seek to bind them, they'll have to fight.

Victory against the elementals has them claim the Champion as a worthy, proven aspirant. The Champion is allowed to call on servants of the black flame any time, that the power of Terrestrial Fire be theirs to command to unleash the black flame's fury again. They gain the power Summon Flame Dancer & Summon Flame Knight. Most of their content can be see in their page.

Upon first equipping the staff, a sporeling named Minuta introduces herself, and it is assumed that the sporeling specifically summoned by the Champion will always be Minuta, but her name is never mentioned again outside the power description. Additionally, Minuta mentions that she is an elemental, and looks forward to working with the Champion since they summoned her.

During the events of Researching the Ring of Fate, if the Summon Talsenne power is leanred, the What About Talsenne? option will become available at the early part of the event. Summoned through the Summon Flame Spirit power, a starting power for a Black Mage and can be learned through Ivris, Rixx, Tetsuya, & Viviane. This power is used by Karithea/Hellhound at the Temple of Terrestrial Fire. The power will have the caster draw a flickering line of flame in the air, the flame acts as a door for summoned spirit to pull itself free into the material world.

Additionally, the Summon Flame Spirit is used in the temple to Bind Spirits in order to fight the Fire Spirits to obtain the Summon Flame Dancer and Summon Flame Knight powers.
