Golden, tawny fur covers these canid people from head to toe, dappled spots camouflaging them perfectly in the tall, dry grasses. Encountering Gnoll Raiders for the first time will have the Champion note the knee to waist-high tall grass as a giant hiding spot, before they are suddenly ambushed by a trio of gnolls. Should Cait, Brint, and/or Arona be present; they will voice their concern or disgust for the gnolls as they ready their weapons.

This will also unlock the Gnolls codex entry if it wasn't unlocked already.

Subsequent Encounters

Repeat encounters will have a band of gnolls burst from the dry grass, cackling with mocking laughter, as they brandish their crude weapons to fight the Champion.
