"Hi," the 狗头人 says through its own purring. The pitch of its voice is a bit on the higher side. "Maybe a stupid question, but, were you the one that rescued me 来自 the snow?"
You hesitate before you answer. "Yeah," you say eventually.
"I love you," the 狗头人 suddenly blurts, its tail wagging so quickly that it's shifting the whole bed with its motions. There was 否 filter put into that statement: it was a raw, 纯净 declaration, straight 来自 the heart and bypassing all social cues. You can't help but believe it. "My 名称's Lyric."
Lyric is an affectionate 狗头人 who endured a harrowing journey to arrive in the Frost Marches. Enslaved by orcish raiders, they made a dramatic escape at sea and swam several hours to find land. They connected with 狗头人 in the Undermountain, but were exiled after eating 来自 the Kobold Queen's hoard. You discover Lyric freezing and barely alive in the Glacial Rift. The next time you go to sleep, you use your body 雌性发情期 to warm Lyric to consciousness and the 狗头人 is instantly devoted to you. They ask to join you on your journey, and you can either keep them in your 物品栏 or send them to Hawkethorne to hang out with Ivris.
As an item, Lyric can be interacted with 来自 your 物品栏. You can also use them as a 战斗 消耗品, hurling Lyric at your enemies and dealing 伤害. There's also a mechanic where you can shift Lyric's physique — specifically, the size of their 屁股 — depending on how much 电铬币 you've fed them. The different sizes of posterior affect Lyric's descriptions, 互动, and how much 伤害 they deal 战斗中. You also choose Lyric's 性别 depending on what you choose when you 醒来 with them.
外貌
Small Lyric
Lyric is a 狗头人, standing at approximately four 足部 tall. His/Her body is covered in a layer of 暗影, jungle-green scales, 来自 sole to scalp, with the scales at his/her armpits, chest, stomach, and inner thighs being 轻型, sandy brown; he/she has a pair of dull, triangular-but-blunted pointed horns jutting up 来自 his/her forehead and pointed slightly backwards, across the round of his/her skull, each of them flanked by circles of smaller horns roughly the length of a fingernail. He/She has vibrant golden eyes, and he/she's capable of opening them much wider than you'd expect him/her to. His/Her face is slightly elongated into a not-quite-人类 snout, and his/her mouth is lined with short-but-sharp incisor teeth; you aren't sure what his/her jaw 力量 is, but those teeth can be deadly on their own. His/Her tongue is long and wide, but thin.
Being a 狗头人, Lyric doesn't have the meatiest body: most of his/her form is thin, lithe, and, if you didn't know better, practically malnourished (with one notable exception). His/Her arms, 颈部, chest, and stomach are all rather thin and spindly; his/her body isn't suited for 战斗, but because of his/her form, he/she is better used for stealth infiltrations, sneak attacks... and being picked up and 投掷 like a projectile 武器, which is his/her preferred method of engagement, at least with you. Also, because of his/her size, he/she can comfortably fit inside your pack with all your 其他 效果, and he/she is 轻型 enough that you can easily carry him/her on your back. And throw, at least with both arms.
All the meat and weight in Lyric's body is at his/her 腰部: they're wider than his/her 肩部, and all that thigh underneath those scales jiggle and dance whenever he/she takes a step. If you were to slap his/her thigh or his/her 屁股, you wouldn't be surprised if it slapped you back.
The rest of his/her legs are proportionately meaty, giving him/her some formidable kicking 力量. His/Her tail is just long enough to reach the ground he/she's standing on, plus maybe an extra inch or two, and it's as wide as his/her 腰部 at the base, but is otherwise featureless. His/Her fingers and toes are each capped with a long, blunted claw: perhaps not great for puncturing or slashing, but they would nonetheless leave their mark on anyone or anything he/she struck.
Lyric is wearing a unique full-body tunic of faded 皮革 tanned dull reds and greens, hemmed together not with thread, but with hemp and 金属; and he/she's wearing a thin lattice of chains around his/her 足部, but not around the soles, apparently meant to be some kind of covering or fashion statement around the ankles. Underneath the tunic, he/she's wearing a thin-layered, long-sleeve undershirt that goes to his/her elbows, and 来自 the elbows to the wrists, he/she's wearing a pair of wrappings, perhaps meant to be a poor-man's substitute for bracers, keeping his/her forearms covered. Underneath the bracers, around the underside of Lyric's wrists, are two long, circular burn scars.
之间 Lyric's legs is a genital slit concealing his 阴茎 when he isn't erect. His 阴茎 is conical in shape, with a thin tip that gets gradually wider and wider until it's too large for one hand to fully wrap around at his base. The skin of his 鸡巴 is a uniform 轻型 purple, contrasting sharply with the scales of his body. When fully erect, his 鸡巴 stands at eight inches, 来自 tip to base – which is quite impressive considering the rest of his frame. His 睾丸 are internal, and when he's completely flaccid, his crotch is smooth./ 之间 Lyric's legs is a genital slit concealing her 阴道. When she isn't 性唤起, the walls of the slit are tough, dry, and stubborn, but when she's in the mood, they're spongy and malleable – easy to pry apart by a finger or two, or a tongue, or a 鸡巴. Her pussy bulges and gets soft to the touch, almost looking and feeling out of place on a body that's covered in a thick layer of natural 护甲.
Underneath his/her tail and 之间 his/her buttcheeks is his/her asshole, right where it belongs.
Big Lyric
Once upon a time, Lyric was a 狗头人 that barely stood four 足部 tall. The only thing that a person would think was 'substantial' on her was the size of her 屁股, and that's not even a thing unique to Lyric: most 狗头人 have asses that could crack stone.
Now, after an illuminating visit to the 黄蜂族 chemist Jyrranaz, Lyric stands at a towering eight 足部, standing roughly as tall as you. Her face had elongated slightly, giving her a more ferocious-looking snout akin to an alligator's, complete with teeth protruding 来自 the corners of her mouth. The short, dull horns atop her 头部 are still dull, but they've extended and curved slightly, giving her a more imposing, draconic 外貌.
As a 狗头人, Lyric's scaly skin was smooth to the touch, but now that she's half-龙, her skin has become a bit more intense and rough, particularly in some 暗影 patches along her limbs and back. Her tail has thickened dramatically to counterbalance all that forward weight, reaching nearly as wide as her hips, but still only long enough to reach her ankles, and the spine of the tail is dotted with plates that add to her more intense, demanding biology.
Despite having grown to double her height, she insists on wearing the same clothes as when she was a 狗头人: a green tunic with red highlights and a red undershirt. On her wrists are bandages wrapped tight, covering most of her forearms. The ensemble stretches and creaks around her body, especially around her fat F-cup 乳房. The fabric strains around them so tightly that, if she took a deep breath and flexed a certain way, it would almost certainly explode. And the whole thing only barely reaches halfway down her thighs: a stiff breeze, or the wrong flex of her tail, or even if she gets particularly excited, and everyone would be able to see everything.
狗头人 were always known for having huge asses, but thanks to Lyric's transformation – and a constant stream of 电铬币 in her diet – her 屁股 has ballooned into something... magnificent. Her tail is nearly as wide as her hips, and her 屁股 dwarfs even it. Every step she takes, the ground shudders and the air vibrates 来自 the impact of her cheeks slapping together. This is an 屁股 that you'd need a map, and possibly a sherpa, to properly navigate. This is the kind of 屁股 that some cultures make 生育力 idols of. This is an 屁股 that... that 其他 狗头人 would wish that they had. That they'd worship. This is the kind of 屁股 that you want on your face, or against your crotch, however you can get it. And she'd let you do whatever you want with it.
At this point, it's probably not going to get any bigger. Which might be for the best. It's already borderline dangerous and hazardous to be around.
Lyric's physique has changed to go along with her 提高 mass, and not just in the obvious ways, although you still wouldn't rightly describe her as muscular. Where, as a 狗头人, her body was fairly smooth all throughout, you can at least tell where her biceps begin and end now, and where her stomach meets her chest is a bit more defined, even ignoring her new... additions. Adding to her draconic imagery, the claws on the ends of her fingers and toes have elongated into sharper, more prominent 武器.
Lyric is 来自 the southern jungles, and southern 狗头人 differed biologically 来自 the local 狗头人 in one prominent way: the local 男性 狗头人 have external 睾丸, while Lyric had internals. Apparently, 龙 are a bit more uniform, because now that Lyric's a 龙, her 睾丸 are on the outside. And they're pretty fat, too: each nut being the size of an orange, at least. Even against her frame, they look quite large.
Sitting on Lyric's chest are a pair of 乳房 that strain against her tunic so much that the strings and fabrics cling to each 其他 for dear life. A deep breath and a bit of a flex would be enough to cause the whole thing to burst apart. They're F-cups, at minimum, and her tunic is so tight on her that you can easily see the nubs of her 乳头 through the 布料. 狗头人 aren't known for being particularly chesty, but, clearly, 龙 are.
But despite all that... despite the size, despite the gnarlier face, despite the claws and horns, despite the more 强势 outward 外貌 of being half-龙... it's still Lyric. It's the same gentle, golden eyes that first looked up at you in that bedroll who knows how long ago now. It's the same buoyant, positive disposition and energy. She still looks at you with the same endearing expressions and her tail wags the same way it did when you call her 名称 as a 狗头人. She has the same eagerness for the natural sciences of the world.
This is still Lyric. Just... different.
互动
首次遭遇
Put on the spot as you are, you do the one thing you can think to do, and you slip the 狗头人 into your pack. It's small enough that it'll fit. It's hardly the perfect solution, but it'll at least buy you some time until you can get something a bit more potent into it.
A 火焰 might be useful, but it'd be impossible to find dry kindling this deep into the rift, and you doubt a conjured fireball could last longer than a few seconds in this environment. Perhaps sharing your body 雌性发情期 could be the answer? As soon as you find, or establish, a safe place to sleep, you could warm the 狗头人 back up with your body.
As you're travelling through the first zone of the Glacial Rift, you trip over a mound of snow. When you 调查, you discover a frozen 狗头人 barely clinging to life. Rather than seeking medical help, you stow the 狗头人 in your pack. The next time you camp or go to bed, you cuddle up with them as you fall asleep. You 醒来 to a recovered Lyric staring adoringly and saying they love you. You and Lyric have a somewhat uncomfortable talk, but the 狗头人 is resolute in their position of you being their hero and them loving you. You awkwardly pat Lyric's 头部 and call them a good:

Whichever 性别 Lyric is, they ask to accompany you on your journeys. You're the first person who's shown kindness to Lyric in a long time, and you did it by saving their life, and they want to 奖励 you however they can. The 性别 you pick will be their identity, even if you give them the 其他 set of "装备"
- Usefulness: While you aren't against bringing Lyric with you, he/she needs to lift his/her weight somehow. Ask how he/she plans to do that.
- Blow Me: Lyric did say anything. If nothing else, this'll at least test his/her resolve. And besides, with a mouth and 手部 as small as his/hers, if you close your eyes, you bet you'd feel enormous. (requires 阴茎)

- Hawkethorne: You're not so heartless that you're going to tell Lyric to fend for himself/herself, but you're also not interested in leading around a lovesick puppy all over 萨瓦拉. Surely the people of 鹰棘镇 will accept him/her.
If you end up leaving Lyric in 鹰棘镇, they travel to the Alchemist's Shop and learn about 炼金术 来自 Ivris. If you bring Lyric with you, one thing they suggest is literally throwing them at enemies. They're compact, durable, and have claws. They're also happy to warm your bed whenever you need it, because they love you.
后续遭遇
If Lyric is travelling with you, you can interact with them 来自 your 物品栏 if small or your camp and 客援 menu in The Frost Hound if big. If you left Lyric in Hawkethorne, you meet them in the Alchemist's Shop. You can talk with Lyric about the very difficult journey they faced to get here, as well as their interest in science and how their body works. You can recruit Lyric by visiting Lyric at the alchemist's and choosing Take With, and leave Lyric in 鹰棘镇 by dropping them 来自 your 物品栏 and leaving them in 储物 or dismissing them 来自 your camp or The Frost Hound if they're big. Once you've caught Lyric eating your 电铬币 — 参见Feeding Your Lyric — you can also feed Lyric 电铬币.

Feeding Your Lyric
You look underneath your arm to whatever it was that was just trying to burgle you – and you find Lyric, his/her golden eyes wide as can be and watering along their 下装 edges. "I'm sorry!" he/she cries, stopping his/her struggling immediately and going limp in your grip, submitting to whatever punishment you had in mind for him/her. "I thought I was okay! I didn't think to ask first, I'm sorry!"
As you travel with Lyric in your 物品栏, at various points in the day you notice something happening. You don't think anything of it until you catch Lyric rifling through your coinpurse. Lyric begs for mercy instantly, having thought you kept bags of 金属 on your person as a snack. You reassure Lyric that they're not in trouble, although they are under 否 circumstance to eat your money without your express permission. However, maybe you'll see what you can do about budgeting money for Lyric to consume, which they're very excited by. Lyric also mentions that it's good they only ate around ten coins, because if they ate too much it would go directly to their 屁股 and thighs...
The Metabolism talk mentions this event, though you can access it without catching Lyric eating your money.
In the Undermountain
"否, we haven’t," the first 男性 admits with a shrug, "but even if we did, we don’t have anything to barter with. We’re wearing rags and the only thing we own are these knives, like you said. Well," he continues with a start, "that’s not true. They’re the only thing we bring with us when we rob people."
"That’s not true either!" Lyric insists. He/She leans forward, his/her tongue sticking out 来自 the corner of his/her mouth mischievously. "You could offer yourselves."
One possible encounter in the Undermountain is a group of 狗头人 who attack you, trying to steal your 金属. However, if Lyric is in your 物品栏, they scramble out of your pack to speak with them. After a quick catch-up, Lyric reveals to the 狗头人 that they've found a much easier way of getting discs of money 来自 non-狗头人 — you see, 金属 can be exchanged for goods and services. And even if the 狗头人 have nothing to trade, there's one service Lyric knows you enjoy. The only condition Lyric gives for access to you is that the 狗头人 have to tell the Kobold Queen that Lyric is responsible for the donations to her hoard. And that's how Lyric ends up facilitating you soliciting a 群体 of 狗头人 for 性爱.
Once you've helped fill the 狗头人 Queen's coffers, she invites you to meet her in person. Once you've visited her a couple of times, she will discover Lyric hiding on your person, and gleefully thank them for convincing you to donate treasure. Lyric's exile 来自 the 山腹深域 is ended, though they choose to continue travelling with you.
Size and Function
"Oh, 否. Us 狗头人, we're pretty elastic when it comes to our body shape and the foods we put in ourselves. If you were to wean me off the 电铬币, I'd shrink back down after a few days."
He/She looks at you with big, sad eyes. "Not that I want you to."
After you catch Lyric eating your 电铬币, you gain the option to Feed Lyric with your 电铬币. Lyric's body will change depending on how much you feed them, changing their 互动 and causing Lyric to do more 伤害 in battle. Lyric's bust will also change depending on how 饱食 they are. Small Lyric can "store" up to 300 EC while tall Lyric can "store" up to 600 EC and doesn't lose appetite when full. Lyric will digest 电铬币 over time and with each use 战斗中/each use of Rally Lyric. To keep Lyric fully topped up, you'll need to keep feeding them after hurling/rallying them at enemies or a significant passage of time.

Any time you interact with Lyric in your 物品栏, camp, or The Frost Hound they're very eager to service you in any way you request. Any session with Lyric will turn into an hours-long marathon, with you waking up later to Lyric licking you clean and snuggling with you. If they're tall, you might even awaken their dominant streak...

怀孕

The bearer develops a muscular shell around a very hard egg, has 怀孕 cravings for raw flesh and succulent fruit, and also develops a temporary spike in 性欲. When the egg comes to term, it is left in the Hawkethorne Nursery to hatch.
龙-ing
If you have both Lyric and 龙血/暗影龙血 at the same time, an event will play out where Lyric takes interest in it. Following that, you can bring him to Jyrranaz, which will unlock an option to have them collaborate, which requires Lyric and some 龙血. If you go through with it, it will trigger a 24 hour timer during which Lyric will become unavailable. Afterwards Lyric will become Big Lyric and turn 来自 同伴 item to 随从, and you will learn 'Rally Lyric' 技能.
