Ruined Shrine

A series of 3 gem puzzles prevent the Champion from accessing the deeper parts of the Ruined Shrine. The puzzle involves placing gems at a specific location that satisfies its rules. The puzzle's art assets were created by DCLzexon.

Hints

It is easiest to begin by looking for the gems mentioned in the most clues For X-shaped puzzles:

the center slot (C) is not directly N/E/S/W of any slot
C is NE of the bottom left slot (D), for example
but, note B is also NE of D
non-center slots are directly N/E/S/W of each other (e.g., A is North of D) even though there is a gap

Wordlock Chests

Occasionally during your travels, you will come across a Wordlock Chest that might contain useful consumables, equipment, or quest items. To open the chest, you'll need to read the riddle put on the chest and answer it, using the letters given to you.

Conversation Battle

When entering a conversation battle, it's important to pay attention to what the other character is saying, as well as their general personality. Your opponent might be trying to talk you into a circle to hide something, or is just waiting for someone to actually sit down and listen; Either way, pay attention and read the tooltips of your options before picking them, or failure might lead to a fight, or you outright not getting any rewards and not getting a second chance. It is highly recommended that you do not just skip over and rush these minigames, as they provide valuable insight into the lore, events and characters.
