Description
Based off a motif common in Tychrisian poetry, the concept of the Pale Flame is that of a desire, sometimes perhaps even a true love, that burns so brightly that it makes a frostscale salamander's auroran tail burst into a colorless pyre, all its heat drawn into the heart of its owner. So too does this ring yearn to draw its heatless glimmer into the target of its owner's desires.
