A flame dances eternally in the jewel's heart, pulsating steadily; with a start, you realise that the flame's pulsing in time with your heartbeat. You can only wonder how large this gem was raw for it to be fist-sized after cutting and polishing. On its own, it would have already been an excellent magical focus, but after having being infused with... whatever it is, it's practically brimming over with spiritual energy.
