描述

尽管大多数其他文化都将纹身视为原始的魔法媒介，但无论岛屿兽人还是腹地兽人，纹身都有悠久而深厚的传统，尤其在施法者之间。当然，纹身显而易见的缺点是无法轻易更换。
最简单的替代方式就是把纹样绘在盾牌上；用来避开厄运、抵御敌意魔法，或让武器准确命中的符号都很常见。颜料涂在皮革上，再将皮革蒙于木板，并用青铜箍固定。
