Victory against a walrus will have one of the valkyrie offer a small prayer to send the animal's spirit to rest, before they harvest and store the corpse in wax-cloth. With the hunt successful, a valkyrie will proposition the Champion for some post-hunt sex.

If defeated by the walrus, the entire party safely flee, and one of the valkyries comment that sometimes hunts can go bad and there's nothing else they can do but nurse their wounds and be more prepared. They hope that this defeat does not dissuade them from joining in the next time. If present, [[Arona]] and [[Etheryn]] will make commentary on the defeat.
