When 勇者 enters Kavi's shop, the shopkeeper looks both hopeful and crestfallen, and asks 勇者 for a moment. Kavi explains that Tarah, her bubbly daughter, wants to find a romantic partner and got excited about a great hero spotted in the valley, and she took off yesterday before Kavi could explain that this "hero" was probably 勇者. She still hasn't returned, and Kavi asks if 勇者 could look for Tarah and make sure she's okay, as she's not the type to do well alone. 

勇者 assures Kavi they'll keep an eye out, and asks her if she has any recommendations on where they might start looking. Tarah hasn't been outside of the village much, Kavi explains, and she suggests that Tarah might be close to the nearby river, for which she was named.
