'''Atani''' is a female [[marefolk]] who is currently the acting chieftain of the [[Marefolk Village]], due to the previous chieftain, her mother [[Asani]], being kidnapped by a band of corrupted [[centaur]]s. Docile and unassertive, she lacks confidence in herself and is greatly distressed by her need to assume the role of leadership.

==Appearance==
You take the opportunity to get a really good look at Atani. She must be easily eight feet tall, with broad shoulders and hips. Her short fur is the color of honey gold and sunshine of a palomino steed, dappled with white from the elbows and knees down. The only clothing she wars are some fine woolen wrappings; a small cape that rests on her shoulders and covers only a portion of her titanic tits, and a short skirt that stops at her thighs. Golden-blonde hair flows from her head in luscious curls, while a thick equine tail of the same warm hue swishes gently from side-to-side above her ass.

When she breathes you can watch the way her massive H-cub tits rise and fall, and to your surprise her nipples are thick and pink; just begging to be teased. You're sure that if she bent over you'd be able to see a dewy black-lipped cunt, but for now it's trapped between her thighs. Lastly your attention returns to her cute muzzle and bright blue eyes; everything about her body is squish and curve despite her towering stature and the muscles it must take to keep her upright.

Atani was born in the heart of summer, and only came of age two years ago. Her mother is Chieftain Asani, and her deceased father as "also a mother", which she notes was quite rare back when her parents got together. She was engaged to marry one of the [[Harvest Valley]] [[centaur]]s as part of a peace treaty between their races, but the engagement was canceled due to the tribe's succumbing to the [[Corruption]] unleashed by [[Kaysyrra]]. Since her mother was recently kidnapped by those same centaurs, she has become acting chieftain of the village.

==Interactions==
When the player first arrives in Atani's hut at the Marefolk Village, she will beg the player to rescue her kidnapped mother Asani. The player can either '''Agree''' or '''Refuse'''.

If the player '''Refuses''', Atani will burst into tears and the player will be be roughly escorted from the village by her two bodyguards, expelling them to the [[Harvest Valley]] (South) map. On subsequent approaches of the hut, the bodyguards will demand to know if the player has changed their mind and is willing to hear Atani out. If they say '''Yes''', they will be allowed to speak to her. If they say '''No''', then they will be expelled from the village again.

Once the player has '''Agreed''' to help Atani, they can check out her '''Appearance''', '''Talk''' to her, or ask her for some '''Private Time'''. This last option is gated behind Atani's quest, and as of '''Public Build 0.2.15''' remains unavailable.

Prior to the completion of her quest, Atani has three Talk options listed in her interactions menu.

'''Centaurs''' has Atani briefly elaborate on the ongoing battle between the marefolk and centaurs since the latter race's corruption.

'''Her Mother''' has Atani elaborate on who her mother is and how she was kidnapped.

'''Herself''' has Atani elaborate a little about her history and her likes. She notes that her guards Edessari and Wredi have been looking after her since she was very small, and that she loves eating sugary fruit and taking naps. On subsequent picks of this topic, a shorter and more generic scene of the player and the marefolk swapping small talk is played.
