|As if on cue, another round of hoofbeats and a jingling of cowbells comes scampering through door behind the counter, seeming to pause just beyond it for a moment, before a slender, roan mare steps through the door, huffing gently from exertion and holding a tray of small glazed treats.

The newcomer (Tarah?) is bright and excited, with an infectious smile and a steely gray-blue coat. She wears a similarly colored dress, but on her the loose upper portion falls around her chest, leaving her modest (in comparison at least) D-cups fully exposed. When she goes missing during the events of [[Saving Tarah]], Kavi asks the Champion can go looking for her. During the course of the side quest, the Champion can choose to start a romantic relationship with Tarah, or help her find a different mate. Afterwards, if the Champion chose the romantic route, they have further romantic options with Tarah, including sex, dating, and starting a family.<br><br>

==Appearance==

|Tarah is a lean and soft pony, standing around 5'10" when she's at her best attention. A steely gray blue-roan coat covers her entire body, splotched with lots of darker coloration like an artist flicked ink all over a canvas. She sports a similarly dark equine nose at the end of her face, and her bright green eyes glow with bubbly excitement. A wavy waterfall of platinum blonde hair falls around her shoulders, and a similarly colored tuft sits at the end of a long bovine tail that continually swishes about behind her. That, combined with the constant swivel of her ears toward new stimuli, adds to her constant look of bubbly curiosity.

A little further down, it's plain to see that Tarah did not inherit her mom's prodigious bust. Her choice of dress leaves a pair of charming D-cups on constant display, with a pair of gaudy but adorable piercings drawing your eyes to them. They consist of silver horseshoes with tiny gold cowbells hanging from the bottom. The bells jingle when she makes sudden movements, which is any time she gets too excited, which is the majority of the time she's doing anything... Continuing down, you can see that Tarah's plush hips and long legs end in two equine hooves. Those hips also connect to a big soft butt, the plushest and most spankable part of her body. When the Champion first enters the '''[Alchemist]''' shop on the first tile of the northern road of the [[Marefolk Village]], they meet Kavi, the northern minotaur alchemist, and Tarah, her daughter. Tarah appears as a background, non-interactable character within the scene: she brings in sweets for the Champion and her mother but trips and drops them all over herself. She offers one of the fallen treats to the Champion, but Kavi, her mother, shoos her away to clean up. It's implied this kind of klutziness is common from Tarah; Kavi scolds her about regularly breaking jars of alchemical components. 

In Kavi's '''Males''' talk, she reveals that Tarah didn't hesitate to take [[Mare's Barley]] when the choice was offered, and, in fact, took incredibly well to the drink, which Kavi counts as a mixed blessing.

The Champion asks Tarah if she has any names she thinks would be good for the baby, and Tarah demurs, saying the Champion, as the mom-mom, should choose. The Champion scolds her for not thinking she's going to be just as much a mom, and Tarah shares that she likes flower names, but will like whatever the Champion picks.

After the Champion shares news of their pregnancy with Tarah, Tarah's sympathetic lactation event may proceed when they visit her tile in the Marefolk Village. 

When the Champion enters, they notice that Tarah seems uncomfortable, and the mare shares that her tits hurt and she doesn't know why. The Champion, who notices that her boobs look stiff and full, tries milking her a little, and milk sprays from Tarah: she hasn't drained them at all. They lead Tarah to a back room and milk her into one of the available milk jugs, kissing and squeezing her until she's relieved of the load.

After some time, the Champion gives birth to a young boy, who they settle on their chest, and think about naming. If the Champion has discussed '''Baby Names''' with Tarah, they recall that Tarah was interested in a plant or flower name, otherwise, they hope that she'll like whatever they pick.<p>

The Champion can then choose a name for their new son, whose suggested name is "Basil." Naming conventions (no curse words, no repetition of named characters) apply. <p>

After Basil and the Champion fall asleep together, Gwyn appears to settle the young foal in a crib, and the Champion heads out again, secure in knowing their child is safe.
