|To your immediate east, though, is a solid-looking structure made from stone and wood, right up on the edge of the cliff. A number of ropes are suspended from a pulley system in the structure's rafter, connected to a wheel that has harnesses for pack animals... but there's no sign of the beasts up here, nor the actual lift that they must have once serviced. 
    
You peer over the cliff's edge, down a smoothed section of white stone, to see there's another, roofless structure at the bottom. The ropes connect place to place, but again, you see no sign of any life down there.
